2015 San Juan Islands Visitors Guide and Web Directory

The San Juan County Fair describes itself as a “small, traditional county fair with the feeling of an arts festival.” It’s been happening for more than a century, features local and some non-local music, and the same fair food every year. Island kids who are into 4H, and their families,  really get off on it. Many islanders use the fair as an annual opportunity to see other islanders they wouldn’t normally bump into. Visitors often get that “quaint” feeling about the island from attending the fair, especially visitors from large urban areas.
