Friday Harbor has two big grocery stores ( big by island standards ) .. Kings market is downtown on Spring street. The Marketplace grocery store is larger and cheaper but is located further from the town center. To get to the marketplace follow spring street up the hill, through the four way stop and take your next left onto Mullis road. If you see a baseball field on your right you've gone to far you missed Mullis street. Go about 200 yards on Mullis street and take a left hand turn...you will see the Marketplace grocery store on your right.

There is also a small grocery store at Roche Harbor to serve the marina and village.

There is a farmers market from April through October on Saturdays from 10am till 1am located in the courthouse parking lot in front of the Community Theater. Directions to the Friday Harbor farmers market: If you are on Spring Street (the main drag through Friday Harbor) turn on to Second street and follow it up two blocks... the farmers market will be on the right.
